You can delete your account and all associated cloud data directly inside the Contextly app. This page explains exactly what gets deleted, what is retained, and how long it takes.
Before you delete
If you have an active Pro subscription, please cancel it first through your Google Play account settings (Subscriptions). Deleting your Contextly account does NOT cancel a Google Play subscription. Your remaining credit balance is deleted along with your account and cannot be recovered or refunded once deletion is confirmed.
Steps to Delete Your Account
Account deletion is available only to users who have signed in with Google. If you have never signed in, your data is stored locally on your device only — simply uninstall the app to remove it.
Cancel your Pro subscription (if active)
Open Google Play Store → Account → Subscriptions → Contextly → Cancel. This stops the auto-renewal so you are not billed after your account is deleted.
Open Contextly
Launch the Contextly app on your Android device.
Go to Profile
Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.

Scroll down to find the Account section where your sign-in status and credit balance are shown.
Tap "Delete Account & All Data"
Tap the red Delete Account & All Data button at the bottom of the Profile screen.

Tap Delete in the confirmation dialog. Your account, credit balance, ledger, and all cloud data will be deleted immediately.

This Action Is Irreversible
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- All cloud-synced progress, XP, streaks, and completed situations will be lost.
- Your credit balance will be lost. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable on account deletion.
- Deleting your Contextly account does not cancel a Google Play subscription — cancel the subscription separately in Google Play Subscriptions to stop renewals.
- The one-time welcome credits will not be granted again if you create a new account on the same device (this prevents welcome-credit farming).
- If you reinstall the app, you will start fresh with no previous data.
- Purchase records are retained by Google Play and RevenueCat as required by financial law. Your purchase history can be used to restore your Pro subscription if you resubscribe.
Never Signed In?
If you used Contextly without signing in with Google, your data is stored only on your device — no cloud account exists. To remove all data, simply uninstall the app. No further action is needed.
Can't Access the App?
If you are unable to open the app or access the delete option, email us and we will manually delete your account within 7 business days.
