2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information Required to Use the App (Mandatory)
The following information is collected during the onboarding process and is required for the app to function. You cannot skip this step:
- Onboarding responses: Screen time habits, dopamine triggers, personal goals, focus/sleep/mood/energy baseline ratings
- Daily check-in data: Morning and evening check-ins including mood (1–5), energy (1–5), sleep quality (1–5), focus (1–5), cravings intensity, and day rating
- Program progress: Completed days, streak data, habit completion records
2.2 Information You Provide Optionally
- Profile information: First name or display name (optional, shown in profile screen)
- Google account data: Name, email address, and unique Google user ID — only if you choose to sign in with Google for cloud backup. Sign-in is entirely optional; the app works fully without it.
2.3 Information Collected Automatically
The following data is collected automatically by the app and its third-party SDKs, regardless of whether you sign in:
- Device identifiers: Unique device ID used by expo-notifications (for push notifications) and RevenueCat (for purchase verification)
- Crash logs and diagnostics: App crashes, errors, and performance data collected automatically by Firebase Crashlytics and Expo
- Purchase status: One-time purchase identifier and subscription status collected by RevenueCat and Google Play Billing
- Usage data: Screens visited and features used, collected anonymously to help us improve the app
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the Service: Deliver the 30-day program, track your progress, display your stats
- Personalize your experience: Show your mood trends, streak, badges, and phase progress
- Send notifications: Morning reminders, evening check-ins, streak alerts, and milestone notifications (local push notifications only — we do not send marketing emails)
- Process purchases: Verify your one-time payment and grant lifetime access
- Fix bugs and improve the app: Analyze crash reports and usage patterns
- Prevent fraud and ensure security: Verify purchase authenticity, detect unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations: Retain financial transaction records as required by law
4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage
Your personal progress data (check-ins, streaks, completed days, onboarding responses) is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data does not leave your device unless you choose to enable cloud backup by signing in with Google.
4.2 Automatic Data Transmission
The following data is transmitted automatically regardless of whether you sign in, as it is handled by third-party SDKs embedded in the app:
- Crash and performance data → Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC)
- Device identifier and purchase status → RevenueCat, Inc.
- Push notification token → Expo (Expo Technology, Inc.) and your device's notification service
4.3 Optional Cloud Backup (Google Sign-In)
If you choose to sign in with Google, the following data is backed up to Firebase Firestore:
- Streak data, program start date, completed days list
- Check-in history (mood, energy, sleep, focus ratings)
- Your Google display name and email (for account identification)
All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Data at rest in Firebase is encrypted by Google.
4.4 Data Retention
- Local data: Retained until you reset the program, delete the app, or request deletion
- Cloud data (if signed in): Retained until you delete your account via the app or request deletion by email
- Purchase records: Retained by RevenueCat and Google Play as required by financial regulations
- Crash logs: Automatically deleted by Firebase after 90 days
5. Sharing Your Information

We share data only with the following service providers, strictly for the purposes described:
